  1. Applicability
    1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements between Baile da Dom and any participant (hereinafter referred to as “the Participant”) who registers for and participates in classes, workshops, or events organized by Baile da Dom.
    2. By registering for any class or event, the Participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
    3. Any deviations from these Terms and Conditions are only valid if explicitly agreed upon in writing by Baile da Dom.
  2. Registration & Payments
    1. Fees for classes and events are as stated on the Baile da Dom website and during registration. All prices include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
    2. Payment must be completed in full prior to the start of the class or event
    3. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Baile da Dom does not store or have access to the Participant’s full payment details.
    4. A registration is only considered final once payment has been successfully completed.
    5. Baile da Dom reserves the right to deny participation if payment is not received.
  3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
    1. Cancellation by the Participant
      • The following cancellation policy applies unless otherwise stated:
        • Cancellation more than 14 days before the start of a course block: full refund.
        • Cancellation between 7 and 13 days before the start of a course block: 50% refund.
        • Cancellation 7 days or less before the start of a course block: no refund.
        • Cancellation after the course block has started: no refund for remaining classes.
      • In the case of long-term illness or injury lasting longer than three (3) consecutive weeks, the Participant may request a pro-rata refund for remaining classes. Supporting documentation may be requested.
      • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via the contact form or by email.
    2. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Baile da Dom
      • Baile da Dom reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes or events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor illness or venue unavailability.
      • In such cases, Baile da Dom will offer a suitable alternative or refund for the cancelled class or event.
  4. Missed Classes
    1. Missed classes cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or transferred.
    2. The Participant remains responsible for keeping up with the course material in case of absence.
  5. Class Levels & Progression
    1. Baile da Dom offers classes at different levels. The Participant is responsible for selecting the appropriate level at registration.
    2. Instructors may assess the Participant’s progress and advise on level placement or progression.
    3. Decisions regarding level progression are at the discretion of the instructors and are final.
  6. Participation, Health & Safety
    1. Participation in dance classes and events involves physical activity and inherent risks.
    2. The Participant participates at their own risk and is responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to take part.
    3. The Participant must inform the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect participation.
    4. Baile da Dom reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation if it believes continued participation poses a health or safety risk.
  7. Liability
    1. To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Baile da Dom shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or theft suffered by the Participant during or in connection with classes or events, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
    2. Baile da Dom is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
  8. Code of conduct
    1. Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
    2. Baile da Dom reserves the right to remove a Participant from a class or event without refund in case of inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
  9. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials
    1. All class materials, choreography, and teaching content remain the intellectual property of the instructors or Baile da Dom.
    2. Participants may not record, reproduce, distribute, or use class materials or choreography for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
  10. Photos & Videos
    1. During classes and events, photos and videos may be taken for promotional and communication purposes.
    2. Participants who do not wish to appear in such materials must inform the instructor or organizer in advance.
  11. Personal Data & Privacy
    1. Personal data (such as name, surname, email address, and registration details) is collected via website forms powered by Forminator and used for administration and communication purposes only.
    2. Baile da Dom uses independent analytics tools to improve its website and services.
    3. Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Further details can be found in the Privacy Policy.
  12. Changes to service
    1. Baile da Dom reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class schedules, instructors, locations, or services.
    2. Participants will be informed of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
  13. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
    1. Baile da Dom reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
    2. Updated Terms & Conditions will be published on the website. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
    1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
    2. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
