Our goal

Baile da Dom’s main goal is to introduce people in and around Utrecht to Brazilian dances, such as Samba de Gafieira, Forró, Bolero, etc.
In a fun and approachable manner, Baile da Dom will unite people and encourage them to move, connect with themselves and each other.

How we reach our goal

By planning weekly dance classes and events, we hope to achieve our goal of building an open, welcoming community around Brazilian dance and culture.
With educators from all over the world, we are planning festivals, parties, music events, and various workshops.
Other activities might include cooking together, organizing Brazilian music events such as Festa Junina or Carnaval.

Our team of teachers

She is a founding member, producer and teacher of Forró Den Haag in The Netherlands. Her dance and teaching blends roots style with forró universitário, emphasising comfort, communication and expression while embracing the rich culture and history that make forró so special.
